オリジナルのうちわが出来ました。
空を元気に高々と飛ぶツバメは、”maison du suzume” のデザインです。

うちわの制作は香川県の伝統工芸「丸亀うちわ」を使わせて頂きました。
江戸時代から続く丸亀うちわ。寛永10年（1633年）丸金印の「渋うちわ」が金比羅詣りの土産品として全国に広がったとされています。
国の伝統工芸でもあり、穂と呼ばれる扇状の部分が均等に並び丁寧な造りとなっています。
柄と骨とが一本の伊予竹で出来ており、ひとつひとつの工程がすべて職人の手仕事で作られています。
丈夫で長持ち、今年の夏はひとランク上質な「丸亀うちわ」で、涼をとってみてはいかがでしょうか。

The swallow flying energetically high in the sky is a “maison du suzume” design.
I used the traditional craft of Kagawa Prefecture, "Marugame Fan", to make the fan.
Marugame uchiwa has been around since the Edo period. It is said that in 1633, Marukin's 'Shibu Uchiwa' became popular as a souvenir for those visiting Konpira.
It is also a traditional craft of the country, and the fan-shaped parts called ears are arranged evenly and carefully made.
The handle and frame are made from a single piece of Iyo bamboo, and each process is done by hand by craftsmen.
